Hi everyone–greetings from Seattle, WA, USA, I had a lovely Thanksgiving holiday yesterday. I ate too much but I guess that is to be expected when the food was as yummy as it was yesterday. It was so fun to see family and friends and visit and catch up on all of the gossip.
This is the first stop on a huge blog train, full of easy and extra cute holiday helpers. From quick pages to cards, to tags and easy gift ideas you will find all of those by stopping on the train. The ScrapMatters’ CT and DT did such a fabulous job with all of their contributions, they are such an inspiration to me. I am so excited about this upcoming Christmas season.
Now that Thanksgiving is over, at my house it is time to move onto the celebration of the birth of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Christmas is my all-time favorite holiday. Later on today I will put out the nativity sets, yes I said sets. I have quite a collection of them all gifts or family heirlooms. We probably won’t put up our tree for a few days. One of our family traditions is to buy or make every member of our family an ornament each year. We label them with who they belong to and the year. Since the kids are basically grown up, and have received an ornament a year since birth, we have a lot of ornaments! When they have homes of their own they will take their ornaments with them. It is so great to have a tradition like this that brings back memories of a certain year, or time in life. Just through one little ornament we remember who was really into the Nutcracker or who was into country music or whatever the inspiration for that particular ornament was.
Ok I’m through blabbering. Here’s your freebie!
Next stop on the Christmas blog train is Brittney’s blog here. Have fun!
