New to ScrapMatters: Tracie Stroud!

I am so excited to welcome Tracie Stroud to ScrapMatters and to celebrate she’s having a sale.

This week only, save 30% on her entire store, excluding some collabs. If you purchase $15 or more, your savings increase to 40%! What a great deal! Hurry, the sale is only good through Saturday, March 14! And now for her new kits! First is Sweet Pea, a soft, sweet kit.

And some inspiration from her fabulous CT!

Next is Love Blooms Here, a fun a fresh way to scrap all those Springtime memories!

As you can see, her CT has been hard at work, because they totally rocked this kit as well!

Stop by and get these fabulous kits this week, because the sale won’t last long!

Check Out All of the Design Star Mini-Kits–Freebies Galore

Wow!! I am so impressed by all of the fabulous mini-kits that we received in our first ever DESIGN STAR contest.  Talk about talent!  There are 90 of them and I can’t share my favorites, but just know that there are some terrific mini-kits for free waiting for you to snag via box.net at ScrapMatters.  You MUST be registered and logged into the forum, to hop over to the gallery to preview these and grab your favorites. If you’re new to ScrapMatters the word you need at registration  is digital. Make sure you leave some love, these gals have worked soooo hard to create these beauties.

This first round is a blind competition being judged by some of our friends in the scrapbook world.  I would really like to thank our judges for being so willing to help out, I know I would have a really hard time.  Here they are (alphabetically by first name)

Speed Scrap on December 22nd at ScrapMatters

Hope to “see” you at this special speed scrap.

Thankful for you–Freebie!

I am getting so excited for Thanksgiving, I can already smell the turkey and take the pumpkin pie. I love to watch the Thanksgiving Day Parade while I cook.  I’m always amazed at all of the floats, bands and fun that make up the Thanksgiving Day Parade.  I feel so blessed this year, a new roof over my head and food on my table, family and friends too.  Even with my neck and back problems I am indeed abundantly blessed. Only two more days until Turkey Day!

I’m also getting excited for the day after Thanksgiving called Black Friday. We’re having a fabulous sale at ScrapMatters and I can hardly wait. With a $10 purchase you will receive our new Mega kit called “Comfort & Joy.” The ad below was created using elements and papers from “Comfort & Joy.”  Plus we are doing one humongous blog train with quick and easy Christmas/Holiday goodies for you.

New Products in the Shop, Birthday Celebration and Freebie!

Thanks for dropping by my blog for the second stop on the blog train.  I’m so excited today!  This is the first day of the SM birthday bash.  It is so hard to believe that it will be one year on Sept 29th since we opened our site.  I want to give a big shout out to Britt, Shari, Happy Scrap Girl and Henriette.  These gals have been here from day one!  Thanks so much for all you have done to make SM such a fabulous place.

Have any of you participated in the template challenge sponsored by my CT?  See previous post for more info.  I love the template that Jen made and the participation prize should be a lot of fun and a way to take your photos to new heights.  My CT will draw one lucky winner from all of the entries and that person will receive a $5 gift certificate to my store.

Everything in the shop is 30% off for the entire weekend plus Monday, the 29th–our actual birthday.  I have some new products that I am so excited to show you.

Fourteen tweed papers similar but each slightly different make up my new “Autumn Tweed” paper pack.

“Autumn Sojourn” is a complete kit crammed with the goodness of fall.  Sixteen papers, felt leaves, stitching,  ribbons, buttons and a few kitschy elements.  Perfect for scrapping all types of LOs.

These “Felty Flowers” will add a fun look to your layouts and hybrid projects. With all the colors of fall these hand-stitched flowers will save you hours of work.

Look at these fun LOs my CT made with the new goodies:

Now onto our birthday celebration!

To celebrate the SM birthday take a look below at the festive team collab kit called “You Say It’s Your Birthday.”  Everyone did such a fantastic job and it just came together so well.  It is free with a $10 purchase from the shop.  I am excited to say that it should just automatically be added to your cart when it contains at least $10 worth of merchandise–after the sale price is subtracted.

This kit is so huge that we had to show the elements on their own preview.  There are just so many fun elements to create fantastic pages for both boys and girls, young and old.

The paper pack is pretty fab as well.  Take a look at all of those papers–and the preview doesn’t include the solids!  This entire kit is free with just a $10 purchase from the SM shop.

Today is also the first day of the birthday daily download.  So while you’re busy hopping all over the SM site and from blog to blog don’t forget to visit the Daily Download section of the forum so you can snatch up day one.

Finally the moment you’ve been waiting for!  Here is my contribution to the blog train–image is clickable:

This is a scheduled post–that means I am counting on wordpress to make sure it is published at the correct time.  The official start time for the blog train is 7 am Pacific Time (and we are now in daylight savings time) and I was so afraid that this would be late, I made it start an hour early because I wasn’t sure if the blog clock accounts for DST or not.  So if you are reading this before 7 am PDT please excuse my early posting. Your next stop on the blog train is Britt’s blog.

Thanks for stopping by–Andrea
