Wow! Where has 2009 gone? It is so hard for me to believe that November is here already. The count down is on towards Thanksgiving and Christmas. I am feeling so far behind. Is there anyone else but me that is feeling overwhelmed by this? I usually try to make our gifts for extended family and I haven’t even decided yet exactly what I am doing.
I do plan on making calendars for several people on my gift list. My CT made this gorgeous and practical, easy to personalize calendar for me to sell in my shop at ScrapMatters. It uses a variety of my kits and it turned out so nice. They even made a non-Christmas December and two different Augusts. You just need to pop pictures in place on the top page and personalize the bottom calendar grid with birthdays if you want. Just click on the picture below to see it up close and personal in my shop at ScrapMatters.
Just for my blog readers I have it on sale for 10% off. Use coupon code: aldblog2010 This code is only good for this product but we are having a huge sale at ScrapMatters that starts this coming Friday and you can use this coupon code in addition to the sale price and get the calendar at a great price. What a great, inexpensive Christmas gift for grandma and grandpa and distant relatives.
Here are some sample pages–there are more on the product page (click image above to go to product page).
Here is a finished sample by Rachelle aka Chelle’s Creations:
If you want to make a personalized 2010 calendar but aren’t sure where to get started or how to insert pictures into the pages, please leave me a comment and I will be happy to help you. The calendar is created using png files which should work in Microsoft Word, Publisher or probably even Microsoft Works. The calendar files will also work in Paint Shop Pro, Creative Memories Storybook Creator Plus and a variety of other photo-editing programs. Also if you create one I would love to see it. Send me a link to where you have it posted.
HAPPY NOVEMBER ONE & ALL!
